StrivPath

Terms of Service

Purpose

StrivPath is a free sports tracking application that helps athletes set meaningful goals, follow their progress across every session, and celebrate each milestone on their personal path. It connects to Strava via OAuth to import your activity data and measure your progression towards your goals. StrivPath is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Strava.

Access to the Service

Using StrivPath requires a valid Strava account. By connecting your Strava account, you accept these terms in full and authorise StrivPath to access your Strava data within the permissions you explicitly grant via Strava's OAuth flow. You must also comply with Strava's Terms of Service when using StrivPath. The processing of your personal data is described in the StrivPath Privacy Policy.

Features

StrivPath provides the following features:

  • Goal creation and progress tracking (distance, duration, elevation gain, frequency)
  • Import and display of activities from Strava (running, cycling, swimming, and other activity types)
  • Automatic and on-demand synchronisation of Strava activities
  • Performance statistics, progression charts, and personal records

Technical limitation

Historical activity import is limited to 2,000 activities per sport type due to Strava API constraints. This limit does not affect the ongoing synchronisation of new activities.

Planned features

A badge and achievement system is planned but not yet available. StrivPath makes no commitment regarding the timeline or availability of features currently under development.

User Obligations

By using StrivPath, you agree to:

  • Use the service in accordance with applicable French and European law
  • Comply with Strava's Terms of Service and API usage restrictions
  • Not attempt to circumvent technical protections, rate limits, or access controls
  • Not use the service for commercial purposes without prior written authorisation
  • Not use StrivPath in an automated or systematic manner that could generate excessive requests to the Strava API or circumvent its intended use

Data Ownership

Your sports activities and personal data remain your property. StrivPath claims no ownership over your activity data. You may delete your data or your account at any time from the settings page. Strava remains the authoritative source of your activity data; StrivPath holds a local copy solely to provide its tracking features.

Intellectual Property

The StrivPath application, its interface, logo, and source code are the exclusive property of Titouan Auclair. Strava's brand, trademarks, and logos belong to Strava, Inc. and are used solely to indicate compatibility, in accordance with Strava's brand guidelines.

Limitation of Liability

  • StrivPath is provided free of charge, as is, without warranty of any kind.
  • Statistics and metrics are computed from Strava data and may differ from figures shown in the Strava application.
  • Service availability depends on the Strava API; any outage, rate limit, or API change on Strava's side may impact StrivPath.
  • The publisher is not liable for data loss resulting from account deletion, Strava API changes, revocation of API access, or force majeure.
  • In no event shall the publisher's liability exceed what is permitted under applicable French law.

Service Availability

StrivPath is provided free of charge on a best-effort basis. No uptime guarantee is offered. The publisher reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, with reasonable prior notice where possible.

Termination

You may terminate your use of the service at any time by permanently deleting your account from the settings page. This immediately removes all your data stored by StrivPath.

Deleting your StrivPath account does not revoke StrivPath's authorisation on Strava's side. To fully disconnect StrivPath from Strava, you must also revoke access from strava.com/settings/apps. All data imported from Strava is deleted within 48 hours of account deletion, in compliance with the Strava API Agreement.

Amendments

These terms may be updated at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the application. Continued use of StrivPath following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the use of StrivPath shall be submitted to the competent French courts, unless otherwise provided by applicable consumer protection law.
